Investing in Leadership: Shaping the Future of Our Industry

Leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about influence, initiative, and impact. In a fast-paced
industry like real estate, strong leaders help shape not only their businesses but also the
communities they serve. That’s why the Lakeway Area Association of REALTORS® is proud to
continue its investment in leadership through the 2026 Hurst Leadership Academy.

The Hurst Leadership Academy is more than just a program—it’s a launchpad for REALTORS®
who are ready to step up, stand out, and make a difference. This immersive, hands-on
experience is designed to identify and develop emerging leaders who are passionate about
growing their business, engaging with their communities, and leading the industry forward.

What to Expect in 2026

Participants in the 2026 class will:
Attend Tennessee REALTORS® Day on the Hill.
Participate in team-building activities including a personality assessment.
Attend a LAAR Board of Directors meeting.
Work together on a group capstone project.
Meet with local leaders and volunteer in the community.
Learn about the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and participate in the
RPAC-A-THON.
Celebrate their accomplishments at a graduation ceremony in October 2026.

Through these experiences, participants will strengthen their leadership skills, build valuable
relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of the real estate industry at the local and
state level.

Program Highlights
Open to active REALTORS® with at least 2 years of membership
Must demonstrate community involvement and a passion for leadership
Only 5 participants will be selected for this prestigious program
Tuition is $500 (non-refundable)
C2EX completion required by September 30, 2026
